The document, signed by Director Carlos Henrique Oliveira de Sousa, considered the evolution of the Brazilian scenario in coping with the new coronavirus pandemic and the low demand observed in the activities of the Immigration Police, especially in the emission of passports and registration of immigrants, to authorize the resumption of the activity.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>According to Article 2 of the document, \u201c the service protocols relative to migratory regularization, national migratory registration cards and other documents relative to the activities of Migratory Regularization produced by the Federal Police that have expired since March 16th, 2020, will be accepted and may be used until March 16th, 2021, with the purpose of entrance or registration.<\/p>\n<p>Valid for 10 years, a fee of R$ 257.25 (or R$ 334.42 for emergency emission) is charged for the emission of passports. For a new request for a passport online, the requester must access and fill in the <a href=\"https:\/\/servicos.dpf.gov.br\/sinpa\/inicializacaoSolicitacao.do?dispatch=inicializarSolicitacaoPassaporte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">link<\/a>. After scheduling on the site, the requester must go to the chosen unit with his original documents (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/pf\/pt-br\/assuntos\/passaporte\/passaporte.html?dispatch=documentos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">check complete list of documents on the site<\/a>) .<\/p>\n<p>The requester must be up to date as a voter, and with dispensation from Compulsory Military Service. At the Federal Police post, the person will have his\/her fingerprints taken and his\/her photograph registered for emission of the document.
