Therefore, we always practice actions that transform the space around us \u2013 both physical and social \u2013 in search of a more just, sustainable and egalitarian society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Due to this concern for the cultural formation of the new generations, FINK has created an initiative for taking music lessons to hundreds of children in Rio de Janeiro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The \u201cEscola de M\u00fasica e Cidadania\u201d (School of Music and Citizenship), a project supported by FINK, took courses in musical theory and the practice of several instruments to 250 needy students in Rio\u2019s primary schools. The aim was to present, in a playful and fun way, the fantastic world of art production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learning about musical theory is liberating. Music, as well as all the arts, allows people to express themselves, and to portray uniquely the truth of their time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cultural formation of Brazilian children should be a beacon for actions by institutions concerned with our progress.
