An art exhibition arriving to Brazil is always a great event. In recent decades great artists\u00b4 artworks have been seen by thousands of Brazilians in the main cities of the country. FINK is proud to have participated in its history by helping to bring a vast collection of Pablo Picasso artworks to Brazil in 1999.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The exhibition “Picasso: Years of War 1937-1945” brought together a collection of 150 works by the artist, dating from the period of World War II, seen by more than 200,000 people in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo. The collection was then valued at more than 120 million dollars – which was a great responsibility in terms of transportation .<\/p>\n

However, FINK has always been an expert in this specialty. More than two years of logistics planning ensured the safety of the shipment. The paintings were packaged into wooden custom made cases, with an inner lining of styrofoam and foam, to avoid thermal shock. In addition, on arrival in Brazil, the transportation was made in climate control trucks, which also helped in acclimatizing the works in a different climate.<\/p>\n

Finally, a success. The exhibition had one of the largest assistance ever recorded in Brazil.
