<\/p>\n

The vaccine for the new coronavirus has finally reached Brazil. However, until the whole population has been immunized, it is necessary to continue following all the safety protocols recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), such as, for instance, in the resumption of events after the standstill of the agenda due to the social distancing imposed for the containment of the disease. For this reason, the Brazilian Association of Events Companies, in partnership with the Brazilian Union of Promoters of Fairs (Uni\u00e3o Brasileira de Promotores de Feiras \u2013 UBRAFE<\/a>) has published a handbook for the recuperation of the sector.<\/p>\n

Thus was born the handbook Events Market in Brazil \u2013 Covid-19. Post-Pandemic Activities \u2013 a document with guidelines necessary for the standardization of the activities of event companies and professionals in the post-pandemic period. With the aim of rebuilding the confidence of sponsors, exhibitors and, mainly, the general public, the list of recommendations is composed of 5 stages: social distancing, personal hygiene, sanitization of ambiences, communication, and monitoring. Check out below the measures that will be taken for safely receiving the public.<\/p>\n

Measures for social distancing<\/strong><\/p>\n

.A distance of 1.5m between persons in the lines formed for entrance to the event, as well as at the accreditation desk and at the Exhibitor\u2019s Service Center.) \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Warn participants with symptoms not to participate \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Greater distance between tables at Food Centers. MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.In the case of events that have \u201caudiences\u201d, such as congresses, have seats with at least 1m distance between them, or skip a seat – MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Keep the venue well ventilated, with windows open if possible \u2013 RECOMMENDED;<\/p>\n

.In the event, maintain a distance of 2m between persons \u2013 RECOMMENDED;<\/p>\n

.Open and ventilated booths (except storages), and wider streets and corridors \u2013 RECOMMENDED;<\/p>\n

.Implantation, when possible, of one-way corridors to coordinate the flux of clients in halls, pavilions, and in the booths themselves – RECOMMENDED.<\/p>\n

Measures for Personal Hygiene<\/strong><\/p>\n

Decontamination center at the entrance to events = alcohol gel, disposable tissues with alcohol for cleansing bags, wastebaskets, temperature monitoring, sanitized masks and badges \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Use of masks by all the participants (staff, exhibitors, visitors and lecturers) throughout the whole event (mounting, during the event, dismounting, delivery of material and moving of cargos) \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Spots in every street of the event with sinks, paper towels, soap dispensers, alcohol gel, at the disposal of participants – RECOMMENDED;<\/p>\n

.Exhibitors should also have alcohol gel available in their booths \u2013 RECOMMENDED.<\/p>\n

Measures for Sanitization of Ambiences<\/strong><\/p>\n

.Access to entrance hall of the event covered by a carpet containing disinfectant \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Specific place for discarding masks \u2013 which must be removed by a company specialized in removing contaminated products \u2013MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Improved processes for cleaning and sanitizing spaces in general, especially restrooms \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Food: no food or drinks allowed to be offered inside the booths – MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Food Center: compliant with current sanitary norms. Use of disposable materials and with organized waiting lines \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

Lockers in entrance areas (preferably self-service) with alcohol\/tissues for disinfecting bags, suitcases, etc. \u2013 RECOMMENDED.<\/p>\n

Communication Measures<\/strong><\/p>\n

.Accreditation of visitors online, and credentials printed in office\/at home, reducing the waiting line for accreditation – MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Reinforced signaling with recommendations for compliance and hygienic conditions \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Implantation of intensive communication process about the norms for the realization of events within the safety protocols established by local authorities \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.After the end of the event, maintain names and contacts of participants for at least one month \u2013 MANDATORY;<\/p>\n

.Placement in a visible spot of a sign indicating the maximum number of people allowed, to ensure social distancing in the venue \u2013 MANDATORY
.Avoiding promotional activities that may cause crowding \u2013 RECOMMENDED.<\/p>\n

Monitoring Measures<\/strong><\/p>\n
