Adaptation is the keyword when the subject is moves. Especially an international move. Changes in climate, culture, language, habits, leisure options, work and study, as well as building up a new circle of friends, are challenges inherent to the arrival at a new home in another country. It’s like an extended trip – with a difference: the discovery of the new place will go beyond memories, and will be useful for your future routine. To make your life easier, FINK offers a relocation program, an essential support to soften the impact caused when you step on unknown ground. With specialized professionals, FINK’s Relocation Division offers help that begins in Brazil, or other country of origin, and only ends when the family is completely established in the new home.

It’s time for your move and even more challenging than transferring your furniture and household items from one point of the city to another, is transporting them internationally. In this respect, you can only feel tranquil as to the safety and speed of the transference if you have the help of a renowned company that holds all the necessary international certificates. Way beyond packing and transportation, FINK offers all the assistance needed for your international documentation, provides customs clearances, and also evaluates the best way to conduct your move, considering, of course, the most economical. One of the necessary decisions is whether to transport by ship or by plane.

For those seeking a job opportunity in Brazil, the situation is very unfavorable. However, on the other side of the world, in Japan, the government is promoting policies to attract foreign workers, with 300 thousand job openings vacant. If the first quarter can be considered desolate for Brazil, with the information from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística – IBGE) that there are 13.1 million unemployed people in Brazil, at a rate of 12.4%, the same cannot be said of Japan. In 2018, the rate of available jobs reached the incredible number of 160 openings per 100 workers – the highest level in 44 years.

According to the latest research by the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), unemployment has risen in 14 of the 27 federative units in Brazil. The numbers, published on last May 16th, correspond to the first quarter of 2019 in relation to the previous quarter, reaching an average rate of 12.7% of unemployed people in the country. In contrast, the unemployment rate in Canada, a country that receives more and more Brazilian manpower, is less than half that number: 5.6%.

Leaving Brazil seems to be a tendency. This is what is shown by recent data from the IRS (Receita Federal): only last year 22.4 thousand people left the country definitively, presenting the obligatory definitive exiting statement for those who are going to live abroad. The 5% rise relative to 2017 (21.2 thousand expatriates) is directly related to the rise in unemployment and the low expectation for improvement in the economy, but is a figure that has been growing since 2014, when Brazilians began to feel the first signs of the economic recession.
