Chicago Water Tower

Chicago’s Water Tower might have been nothing but an old and common building in the city. Made of wood, most of the city’s buildings were consumed by the flames – only the Water Tower resisted, because it was built of stone. It stands at the end of Michigan Avenue, in the center of Chicago.
