A notícia é boa para quem estava planejando viajar para Israel no primeiro trimestre de 2022. Isso porque o Ministério do Turismo do país anunciou a reabertura da fronteira para visitantes internacionais. A decisão, válida desde o dia 9/1, pode ser reavaliada pelo governo israelense de acordo com o crescimento, ou não, de casos de Covid-19 no país. Para a entrada em Israel, os turistas devem estar munidos de um teste PCR feito em até 72 horas antes do voo de ida, bem como realizar um novo teste ao chegar ao país e aguardar o resultado em isolamento (24 horas em um hotel).

Além disso, o turista deve preencher um formulário de declaração de saúde do passageiro. Outra importante exigência é que somente terão livre acesso ao país visitantes totalmente vacinados com a vacina Pfizer ou Moderna, em um prazo de pelo menos 14 dias antes da entrada em Israel. Já aqueles que tomaram a segunda dose em um período de seis meses ou mais devem apresentar a prova de que tomaram a dose de reforço.

Já os turistas não vacinados, mas que se recuperam da Covid-19, precisam apresentar a prova de um teste NAAT (teste de amplificação de ácido nucleico da saliva para COVID-19) positivo com pelo menos 11 dias antes do voo de ida. Já os viajantes que se recuperam do novo coronavírus e já receberam uma dose de uma das vacinas aprovadas pela Organização Mundial da Saúde também poderão entrar no país.

The news is good for those who were planning to travel to Israel in the first trimester of 2022. This is because the country’s Ministry of Tourism has announced the reopening of borders for international visitors. The decision, valid since 1/9, may be reevaluated by the Israeli government according to the rise, or not, of Covid-19 cases in the country. For entry into Israel the tourists must have a PCR test performed in up to 72 hours before the flight, as well as having a new test on arrival in the country and awaiting the result in isolation (24 hours in a hotel).

Furthermore, the tourist must fill in a form declaring the health of the passenger. Another important requirement is that free access to the country will only be given to visitors completely vaccinated with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, in a period of at least 14 days prior entrance into Israel. Those who have taken the second dose in a period of six months or more must present proof that they have taken the booster dose.

The non-vaccinated tourists that are recuperating from Covid-19 must present proof of a positive NAAT test (test of the amplification of the nucleic acid of the saliva for Covid-19) performed at least 11 days before the flight. As for travelers that are recovering from the new coronavirus, and have already received one dose of one of the vaccines approved by the World Health OrganizationWorld Health Organization, they will also be allowed to enter the country.

Mesmo com a pandemia do novo coronavírus, a Alemanha se manteve entre as quatro nações que mais recebem interessados em estudar em outro país. De acordo com o relatório anual “Wissenschaft Weltoffen 2021”, responsável por compilar informações sobre a internacionalização do estudo e da pesquisa na Alemanha e no mundo, o país europeu recebeu nada mais nada menos do que 325 mil matriculados estrangeiros em suas instituições de ensino. O número corresponde a um aumento de 5 mil (2% do total) novos inscritos, e deixa a Alemanha atrás apenas de Estados Unidos, Canadá e Reino Unido.

Produzido pela Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), maior organização alemã no campo de intercâmbio acadêmico, o estudo considera o semestre de inverno entre 2020/2021. Ainda de acordo com a DAAD, desde 2010, o crescimento de alunos internacionais na Alemanha apresentou um incrível crescimento de 80%. Em relação aos números de cooperação acadêmica, por exemplo, o Brasil figura na lista dos dez países que mais enviaram pesquisadores para universidades na Alemanha.

Em contrapartida, o relatório da Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst informa que o Brasil também tem posição de destaque entre os principais países parceiros da Alemanha. No ranking de países com a maior quantidade de acordos de cooperação e parceria com instituições de estudo alemãs, o Brasil ocupa a quinta posição. According to the annual report “Wissenschaft Weltoffen 2021”, which compiles information about the internationalization of study and research in Germany and in the world, the European country received no less than 325 thousand foreign students in its educational institutions. “É preciso verificar ainda se as companhias áreas abriram voos para as localidades. Além disso, verificar a necessidade de visto, regras de permissão e funcionamento de consulados”, disse Maura Leão, presidente da Belta, ao jornal Estadão.

Posto isto, manter-se atualizado quanto ao que acontece no país destino é fundamental para a realização do planejamento, bem como respeitar os protocolos determinados pelo país destino, desde a chegada ao aeroporto. No Reino Unido e na Irlanda, além de preenchimento de um atestado de saúde, o estudante precisa cumprir uma quarentena de 14 dias. Já na Suíça, além do isolamento social por 10 dias, somente são aceitos alunos matriculados em cursos com mais de 90 dias de duração.

Já no Canadá, além do study permit, autorização de estudo, os estudantes que chegam ao país precisam cumprir a quarentena obrigatória de 14 dias. Na Holanda, os estudantes precisam de uma carta de notificação emitida pelo Serviço de Imigração e Naturalização (IND), além de preenchimento de um formulário de saúde e a realização de uma quarentena de 10 dias, a contar a data de chegada ao país.

If you’ve always dreamed of living in Germany, this may be the moment to make your dream come true. This is because the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD in German) has opened enrollment for a series of courses in the areas of communication and arts. The opportunity to live in Germany is in the post-graduation programs with diverse durations, and applications open until November 30th. Directed towards recently graduated students or those who are in their last year in Brazilian universities – including graduation/bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree – the selection for the post-graduation program also includes Brazilians who are in the first year of a master’s degree, with or without a scholarship, in Germany, and wish to guarantee or alter the benefit starting from the second year.

“The aim is to enable additional studies in the aforementioned areas, with the possibility of obtaining or not an academic title in a German institution of higher education. Those selected will receive a monthly scholarship of 850 euros for a period of 10 to 24 months, depending on the course chosen, airfare and health insurance. Those interested must choose their preferred institution(s) and apply for the desired course(s) directly to the institution for the 2020/21 semester”, states the communication on the DAAD site.

With the term of application according to the chosen post-graduation program, among the areas of study included in the German Academic Exchange Service announcement are courses in cinema, visual arts, architecture, music, performing arts, design and dance. For instance, enrollment for the architecture course ends on September 30, including sending in all the necessary documents, whereas the deadline for the music program is on October 15th. The selection for the post graduate programs in performing arts and dance is until October 31st. Lastly, the deadline for courses in cinema, visual arts, and design is November 30th.

Those interested in the post-graduation programs in German universities must fill in an application form online, as well as sending a selection of documents that includes: an updated curriculum and a letter of motivation. For the courses in architecture, dance, and performing arts, candidates must also present a letter of recommendation. It’s worth noting that candidates must also present a certificate of proficiency in the language to be used in the course, be it German or English. After the application online, candidates must print a copy of the form issued by the DAAD and mail it to the office of the German Academic Exchange Service in Rio de Janeiro, at the following address:
