Culture is a fundamental part in the intellectual formation of any Brazilian citizen. We, at FINK, put great value in the development of a culturally rich and diverse ambiance. This creates a society with a sophisticated and critical debate, while never losing its cultural and social aspects.

To this end, we always try to create this ambiance, whether in school activities that involve children, or by stimulating the market. We worked for the production and publication of the book Entre laços e sapatos (Between Ribbons and Shoes, in a free translation), through an agreement with Rio de Janeiro’s City Hall. The book is about two friends who are separated by different social classes, and later by the passage of time, but who never lose their friendly relationship.

This work is within a context of several other activities performed by FINK, which aim to develop good community work, be it on social or environmental terms. Every passing day makes this concern from private sector institutions more and more urgent. We must concern ourselves with the world we live in.
